Alumni Program

Your recovery community connection.

Your recovery journey doesn’t end when you complete an addiction treatment program. Recovery is an ongoing process that requires you to build a life that embraces sobriety. Establishing a long-term support system to lean on through life's ups and downs is crucial to your success. That is why, at Crossing Recovery Services, an alumni program is an integral part of our treatment and recovery experience.

Importance of an Alumni Program:
• Continuous encouragement and support throughout your lifelong recovery journey.
• Access to invaluable resources.
• Opportunities to give back.
• Lowers the risk of relapse.
• Helps you develop positive habits and learn tools and skills for building healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and coping skills.
• Prepares you for your transition back to regular life.
• Connects you with a network of people you can relate to.

What can I expect from the Alumni Program?
• A private Facebook group to stay connected to your mentors and peers, get and give support, and stay informed on recovery-related resources and information.
• Invitations to monthly sober events.
• Information on outpatient meetings and recovery groups (AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery).
• Access to community resources such as housing assistance, food assistance, employment opportunities, and legal aid.
• Information about Crossing Recovery Services, including Medication-Assisted Recovery, Recovery Living, the Pregnant and Parenting Program, and Education and Career Support.

Our Alumni Program is led by a team of Peer Recovery Support Specialists who use their lived experience of recovery to inspire, motivate, and empower alumni. Through shared understanding and respect, our Peer Recovery Support Specialists help alumni become and stay engaged in the recovery process. Their support services go beyond the clinical setting, extending into the everyday environment of those seeking a successful, sustained recovery process.
